Hi, I’m Zach. I’m so happy you’re here!
I’ve been in the travel industry for more than a decade. My obsession started when I redeemed miles for a last-minute business-class flight to the Middle East — on the upper deck of a Delta 747 (RIP, I loved those seats.)
Since then, I’ve been to 63 countries and have spent nearly eight years covering airlines, credit cards, loyalty programs, tech gear and more at The Points Guy.
My work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post and HuffPost, and I’ve appeared on CNN, Fox News, BBC and the Axios Today podcast, among others.
You might have also seen my face across your social media feeds. If you haven’t, be sure you’re following me on Instagram, TikTok and X.
I grew up in Florida (Boca Raton represent), now live on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with my wife and one-year-old daughter and recently graduated from Wharton with my MBA. Outside of travel, I’m usually running, playing with new tech and gear or baking challah (backup career plan?).
In addition to writing, I collaborate with brands on social media campaigns, advise startups, and provide consulting services to travel and finance companies. I also speak at events about travel, loyalty and the business behind both.
