The new Delta Sky Club at Denver International Airport (DEN) is finally ready for its grand debut.
Inside, travelers will find a dramatically larger footprint, modern finishes, and a much-needed capacity boost at one of Delta’s busiest outstations.
The Denver location is approaching its 10th anniversary, and an overhaul has been long overdue. Delta now operates nearly 40 peak-day departures from DEN, many of which are filled with lounge-eligible flyers. The original space, which seats just 90 guests, has felt undersized and outdated for years.
Fortunately, the new club is a massive improvement. Here’s what you can expect inside Delta’s revamped Denver Sky Club.

Delta Sky Club DEN location
The new Delta Sky Club remains on the mezzanine level of Concourse A. All Delta (and SkyTeam) flights depart from Concourse A, so you’re never more than a short walk from your gate.

You’ll find the entrance just after crossing the pedestrian bridge that connects the departures hall with Concourse A.
Alternatively, take the elevator or escalator to the fourth floor after exiting the train.

If you’re originating in Denver, I recommend walking to the A gates after clearing security rather than taking the train. You’ll be inside the club in about five minutes.

Hours remain unchanged: The lounge is open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 12:15 a.m., except Saturdays, when it closes at 7:30 p.m.
Delta Sky Club DEN access
The best way to get into the Sky Club is with one of my top-recommended credit cards.

There are a few credit card products that offer complimentary Sky Club access, including:
- American Express Platinum Card® and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express
- Note that complimentary access is limited to 10 visits per program year (Feb. 1 to Jan. 31), and you must be traveling on a same-day Delta-operated or Delta-marketed flight in any cabin but Main Basic.
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card and Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card
- Note that complimentary access is limited to 15 visits per program year (Feb. 1 to Jan. 31), and you must be traveling on a same-day Delta-operated or Delta-marketed flight in any cabin but Main Basic.
Unlimited access to the Sky Club can be unlocked by spending $75,000 in qualifying purchases in a calendar year.

Select tickets include access to the Sky Club. This includes those flying in Delta One, those with Sky Club memberships, and Gold Medallions and higher flying long-haul on a partner carrier.

Delta Sky Club DEN layout
Let’s start with the best news.

The Sky Club has more than doubled in size. It boasts more than 13,000 square feet of space with room for 230 flyers. Plus, this is just phase one.

Once the original club closes and is fully renovated, the combined space will span more than 19,000 square feet with seating for 400 guests — a massive improvement over the previous 90-seat layout.
Even before phase two, the difference is night and day.

From the moment you step inside, you’ll recognize Delta’s newest design language: warm earth tones, marble flooring, a statement bar, and thoughtfully divided seating areas.

After entering, you’ll find yourself inside the main lounge area.
There are plenty of different seating options, including individual recliners, banquettes, high-top barstools, and traditional dining seating.
Delta did a great job partitioning the space in this lounge.
In the old Sky Club, you felt like you were in one big room with everyone.

In the new ones, you could be convinced that it’s just you and a few other flyers in the space.

Behind the signature bar, there’s additional seating, followed by the buffet area and beverage station. Toward the back, Delta has introduced a den-style media room.
Delta’s art program shines here. The airline commissioned eight local artists, and several pieces draw inspiration from the Rocky Mountains.

It gives the lounge a strong sense of place.
Delta Sky Club DEN dining
Your stomach will appreciate the big dining upgrade.

For one, two new double-sided buffet stations will help ease congestion.
On the buffet, you’ll find staples like cheese boards, hummus, charcuterie, and salads, along with new signature local touches such as Colorado-style chili.
Delta says the menu will rotate regularly and feature seasonal ingredients — think sweet corn, peaches, and melon during peak harvest months.
The airline should win an award for how it presents food on the buffet. Just look at the cheese plate.

The dessert bar is separated from the main buffet, which should help traffic flow during busy periods.
There’s also a large self-serve beverage station stocked with soft drinks and coffee. (Another beverage station will be added during phase two.)
Bartenders serve complimentary and premium cocktails at the signature bar, which wouldn’t look out of place at a Four Seasons.

The blackberry mule I tried struck the right balance: refreshing, but not too overly sweet.

Delta Sky Club DEN amenities
This isn’t Delta’s most over-the-top club. You won’t find a Sky Deck, showers, or sweeping runway views here. While there are windows, they primarily face the interior of Concourse A.

Still, for an outstation, the essentials are well covered.
Restrooms flank the reception area, and they’re arguably the nicest in the airport. Just look at all the marble Delta used in the design.
There are power outlets, USB-A, and USB-C ports at basically every seat. Fast and free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the lounge.

When the expansion is complete, the club will also feature a dedicated business area with printers and five soundproof phone booths.
Until then, business travelers can take calls from counter seating or dining tables.
Delta Sky Club DEN bottom line
Denver may have been the Sky Club most in need of a makeover. And now it has one.
The new space delivers better design, far more seating, and an upgraded dining experience. Later this year, it’ll grow again when the original footprint is absorbed into the expanded lounge.
Even if Delta stopped here, this would already be a dramatic improvement over the old club.
For Delta flyers passing through DEN, that’s very good news.
